Title:  Software QA Engineer II

At Vistance Networks, we're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about software quality and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning are part of everyday work.

In this role, you'll partner with software engineers to help deliver reliable, high-quality products by designing and executing test strategies, identifying issues, and contributing to test automation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and making a direct impact on product quality.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute software testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Support and improve automated testing efforts.
• Validate new features and product enhancements before release.
• Participate in Agile development processes and team discussions.
• Contribute ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and testing practices.
• Help deliver reliable software solutions used by customers around the world.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software QA, Testing, or a related role.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams.
• Experience with test automation or a strong interest in developing automation skills.
• Solid programming fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

• Join a collaborative onsite engineering team where you'll work closely with developers, contribute to automation initiatives, and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
• This role is based in Apodaca, at Parque de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica (PIIT) and offers the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced engineers in a highly collaborative environment.
