Our software engineering team’s mission is to be a highly adaptable product delivery organization that is reliable and efficient, that fosters innovation and emphasizes continuous learning and improvement. The work environment is tailored to software engineers working in an Agile environment.

As a Sr. Staff SQA Engineer level quality assurance Engineer, you will work with a variety of technologies with the team to innovate, design, develop and maintain quality assurance tools for Aurora Networks Service Assurance software products and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain automated test frameworks for ServAssure products to ensure thorough testing system.
• Develop software Deployment & Orchestration tools, Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Develop scripts to automate software configurations and performance monitoring
• Create and maintain test cases, test cycles and test reports.
• Validate high-availability, scalability, resiliency, and fault-tolerance scenarios
• Analyze system behavior, logs, metrics, and failures in complex distributed environments
• Participate in root cause analysis and defect triage for production and pre-production issues

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of work experience as a SQA engineer or similar software engineering role
• Strong programming experience in Java
• Experience in Python
• Experience with design, development of automation tools for large-scale distributed applications
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Familiar with Ansible, Docker, Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
• Knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills

You will excite us if you have:

• Desirable Experiences:
• Experience working with agile development environment.
• Exposure to Telecom / Cable network management applications. Knowledge of network protocols, Sockets, TCP/IP, SNMP.

Exposure to cloud native architecture and hands on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud deployments.
