General Summary

As a Network Security Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting and enabling Vistance’s global network infrastructure. This position is responsible for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining next-generation security technologies, with a primary focus on Palo Alto firewall platforms, IDS/IPS solutions, VPN services, and cloud-based security controls.

You will work closely with highly skilled engineering teams across multiple IT domains to support secure connectivity, incident resolution, and large-scale security initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices.

How You Will Help Us Connect the World

• Design, implement, and support a resilient network security infrastructure, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and IPSec/SSL VPN technologies.
• Serve as the primary administrator for firewall environments, managing policy configurations, monitoring, auditing, and software updates.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPN tunnels to ensure secure global connectivity.
• Perform deep technical analysis using log review, packet captures, and monitoring tools to identify root causes of complex security and network issues.
• Partner with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to support security audits, compliance monitoring, and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate across IT teams on large-scale, complex projects involving network security, cloud integrations, and infrastructure modernization.
• Proactively manage ServiceNow ticket queues, take ownership of incidents and requests, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, including network diagrams and technical designs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for critical security incidents.
• Continuously evaluate tools, processes, and architectures, bringing forward innovative ideas and improvement recommendations.

This role has a regional impact across APAC, contributing directly to the availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services.

Required Qualifications and Skills for Consideration

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred).
• Strong experience with firewall architecture, security policy management, and network security design.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
• Routing: BGP, OSPF, static routing
• Network services: DNS, DHCP
• DMZ design, VRFs, and network segmentation
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec and SSL VPNs.
• Familiarity with cloud firewall and WAF deployments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience using packet capture and log analysis tools, such as Wireshark and Splunk.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies and general security best practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions during critical events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
