How you'll Help us Connect the World:
Reporting to the Category Manager, the Sourcing Analyst is accountable for planning and executing strategies and tactics that ensure VISTANCE has a best-in-class supply partners that delivery competitive costs, assurance of supply, timely technology and consistent high quality.
- To align with Corporate Procurement and be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement service delivery in South Asia Region and execute Procurement strategies for local and/or regional initiatives for Indirect Procurement . Manage supplier relationships including administrative and operational activities and issues.
- Ensure all VISTANCE contracting standards are maintained. In this capacity, the Buyer is accountable for managing the budgets, operations and maintenance, coordination with other key managers within Procurement and also Internal customer satisfaction.
- Support Global and Regional Sourcing Initiatives as specified by the Category Manager.

Strategic responsibilities include:
- Develop Regional category strategy in alignment with global commodity management and business needs.
- Manage the relationship with key suppliers in the Region.
- Lead the source selection process for regional needs, using existing preferred suppliers and/or new technology leaders. Prepare evaluations for senior team to justify supplier selections.
- Negotiate commercial agreements such as Master Supply Agreements.
- Provide category knowledge, with knowledge of the supply base and regional / local market
Tactical responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the key procurement drivers: Supplier performance – at or above expectation across balanced scorecard -Cost, Quality, Supply Assurance, and Timely Access to Technology.
- Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing and terms to provide best possible solution to clients
- Manage information on cost savings and provide reports on Cost Savings.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate supplier base wherever possible to leverage on volume economies.
- Identify suppliers, capabilities, products pricing to establish standardization of rates for regional requirements.
- Provide liaison between vendors, site teams, finance team and management to ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Ensure proper communications with site teams.
- Provide detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations team in standardized RFQ/bid and contract processes.
- Execute and manage supplier's business awards for key components from PIN to PLANE.
- Conduct periodic business and performance reviews with suppliers to improve performance to standards.
- Manage communications between VISTANCE and supplier on commercial activities.
- Responsible for end to end management of the regional Suppliers, including planning, key projects, category process and policies and managing spend and savings targets for the region.
- Execute global and/or local strategies and help manage the strategic sourcing pipeline.

Required Skills:
- Education - BS/BA, preferred MBA (not mandatory) Qualifications in either Electrical/Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage .Diploma in SCM and PG in Management will be preferred.
- Preferably Purchasing & Supply 5 - 7 years experience across supply chain, with particular focus in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, competitive price analysis, supplier relationship management and performance management
- Experience of workig with global stakeholders is a must.
- Ability to quantify financial benefits for identified opportunities and initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of management
- Understanding of international business and contract law
- Excellent written and oral communications / negotiation skills in English language.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience working with SAP, ARIBA or similar ERP system.
