Sr Engineer, Endpoint Management

Vistance Networks is recruiting an Senior Engineer, Endpoint Management, to join our team based in Bangalore ! We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our corporate endpoint infrastructure, specifically leveraging Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro. This role will focus on modernizing our endpoint management from legacy systems to a cloud-native, zero-trust approach, covering Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). You will be responsible for the full device lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, application deployment, patching, and security compliance, while ensuring a seamless experience for a hybrid workforce. 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• Modern Management (Intune/Jamf): Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for Windows/mobile devices and Jamf Pro for macOS management.
• Cloud Transformation (Entra ID): Lead the transition to a fully cloud-native environment, leveraging Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for device enrollment, user authentication, and Conditional Access policies.
• Provisioning & Imaging: Automate device provisioning using Windows Autopilot and Jamf Pro for zero-touch deployment.
• Policy Configuration: Create and maintain security baselines, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app protection policies (MDM/MAM).
• Application Deployment: Package, test, and deploy applications (Win32, PKG, DMG) across the enterprise using Intune and Jamf.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all endpoints are compliant with security standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks), patching schedules, and encryption requirements (BitLocker/FileVault).
• Automation: Develop PowerShell or Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve endpoint efficiency.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 support for complex endpoint issues and perform root-cause analysis of device failures.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and SOPs. 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT, specifically in endpoint engineering or system administration.
• Intune Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Intune, including device compliance, Autopilot, and App Protection.
• Jamf Experience: Solid experience managing macOS devices using Jamf Pro.
• Cloud Identity: Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and device identity.
• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell (Windows) or Bash/Python (macOS).
• OS Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Windows 11 and macOS operating systems.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
• Additional Tools: Experience with Jamf Connect, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, or CrowdStrike
• Automation: Familiarity with API integrations (Microsoft Graph API) to streamline workflows
