RUCKUS Networks is hiring a Staff Software Engineer who will work closely with our team in Taipei!

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of user space applications for Wi-Fi Access Points and controller platforms. This role is focused on application-level and control-layer software, involving technologies such as WiFi protocol, networking, and cloud development.

You will play a key role in designing and building scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems that operate in embedded Linux environments and communicate with cloud-based controllers.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• 6+ years of experience in Network related field
• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Enthusiasm in programming, good understanding in C Language is required
• Strong knowledge and experience in Linux development, debug, and problem resolving skills
• Familiar with Linux system development and network programming
• Great communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Familiarity with Git for version control and experience working with code repositories.
• Experienced in embedded software development, with a focus on porting software across diverse hardware platforms and leveraging advanced debugging tools to efficiently diagnose and resolve system-level issues.
• A highly motivated and proactive individual who is eager to take on new challenges.
• Able to quickly comprehend the new technology and specifications.

• Experience in configuring and deploying captive portal solutions.
• Experience in applying machine learning or AI models to solve business problems.
• Experience in building large scale, high performance, high availability systems.
