Scope Supervises and controls the activities of one shift, sub-section or small work group within a department of operations where there is similar activity performed. · Provides supervision with operational focus to a group or groups of employees by developing and directing work schedules and monitoring work flow to achieve established goals and objectives. · Provides direction to employees to achieve assignments according to established timelines, policies and management guidance. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. · Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Has financial impact only within the scope of immediate activities.
- Financial decisions are typically made by next-level management.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Reviews production schedules and estimates labor-hour requirements to complete assigned work.
- Analyzes and resolves work-related issues or assists employees in resolving them.
- Conducts performance evaluations and recommends appropriate development plans.
- Recommends or initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and disciplinary measures.
- Maintains records of time and production.
- May train new employees.
- Holds meetings with other supervisors to coordinate activities across departments.
- Develops, modifies, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- May follow up on training programs for employees under their supervision.
- Builds strong working relationships with other departments, fostering a positive work environment.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree completed; Electronics Engineering preferred.
- Typically requires 8 years of experience (including 2 years in supervisory roles).
- 6 to 9 years of experience in manufacturing assembly and testing (electronics preferred), including production program implementation and personnel supervision.
- Basic level of English
- Basic intermediate level of MS Office
Preferred Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Industrial Engineering (diploma)

- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Effective in team-based work environments.
- Experience leading projects and/or teams. People management experience is a plus (e.g., attracting, retaining, motivating, mentoring, developing, disciplining, etc.).
- Knowledge of electronic components, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Frequent interaction with employees and visitors.
- Must use assigned safety equipment in accordance with Safety and Hygiene regulations.
- Promote teamwork.
